Avipast Rubber

Avipast Rubber is an elastomeric waterproofing bituminous emulsion. It consists of bitumen, modified emulsion, special additives, and water. It has a pasty form, is odorless, non-flammable, and contains no hazardous solvents. It is a high-performance waterproofing material with excellent adhesion to all construction substrates. After curing, it forms an insoluble layer that is not affected by dilute acidic or alkaline solutions. Its high viscosity allows it to bridge all capillary cracks, while its elasticity enables it to follow all substrate movements caused by expansion and contraction. It is suitable for bonding polystyrene sheets on horizontal and vertical surfaces.
It is certified according to international standards ASTM D 2939/98, ASTM D 95, ASTM D 1227/95, EN 1062-3, EN 1542, EN ISO 7783.

Vapor barrier: 0.6–0.8 kg/m² per coat, applied in 2 layers.
Foundation waterproofing: 1.5–2.5 kg/m² total, applied in multiple layers.
Vertical surfaces: Simple protection of concrete or brickwork: 0.6–0.8 kg/m² total.
Horizontal surfaces: 2–3 kg/m² total for waterproofing, and 3–4 kg/m² when reinforcement is used.
