ETICS FIX

Suitable for bonding polystyrene thermal insulation boards onto cement-based surfaces. Additionally, when reinforced with fiberglass mesh, it is used to coat the exterior side of the installed insulation boards. Specially designed for application together with the ready-mixed ETICS PLASTER.

ETICS-FIX is used, in combination with ETICS-PLASTER Fine plasters, as a system for the exterior thermal insulation of buildings. It is suitable for bonding thermal insulation panels made of expanded or foamed polystyrene, rock wool, polyurethane, cork, etc., to the exterior facades of buildings, on concrete, plaster, or adobe masonry surfaces. It provides high initial and final bond strength, elasticity, and moisture resistance. It is classified as a GP CS IV, Wc2 mortar according to EN 998-1.

As an adhesive: 3.0–4.0 kg/m², depending on the size of the trowel notches and the type of substrate.
As a reinforced mortar: approximately 1.5 kg/m²/mm.
