Flat Roof Waterproofing with Hyperdesmo

Roof Waterproofing with Hyperdesmo, using a polyurethane liquid-applied waterproofing system, is a reliable solution offering long-term performance and high durability.
Hyperdesmo can be applied on substrates such as concrete, mosaic tiles, ceramic tiles, etc., provided that the surface is sound, uniform, and free from laitance, voids, or honeycombing.

Application procedure:

• Thorough cleaning of the substrate, removal of loose parts, and repair of surface imperfections.
• Application of an epoxy primer (Aquadur).
• Application of two coats of polyurethane waterproofing Hyperdesmo.
• Final coating with aliphatic polyurethane varnish Hyperdesmo ADY, to increase traffic resistance, or application of aliphatic waterproofing Hyperdesmo ADY 500, for additional protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

Note: On small flat roofs where full trafficability is required, ceramic tiles may be bonded directly onto the Hyperdesmo system using a flexible tile adhesive such as Keraflex Maxi S1.
