Inverted Roof Insulation – Trafficable Flat Roof

Inverted roof insulation with Polytile concrete pavers is a modern and reliable thermal insulation and waterproofing system, ideal for trafficable flat roofs with unrestricted use. Provided that properly formed slopes already exist, the total weight of the insulation system is limited to approximately 45 kg/m², offering high durability without overloading the structure.

The system combines polyurethane waterproofing with a final Polytile concrete paver finish incorporating integrated insulation with a thickness ranging from 5 cm to 8 cm. This ensures excellent thermal performance, complete watertightness, and long service life. It is suitable for residential buildings, commercial properties, and other flat roofs intended for daily use.

Application method:

• Thorough cleaning of the substrate and removal of all loose or unsound parts.
• Formation of slopes with concrete, where not already present, to prevent standing water.
• Application of epoxy primer Aquadur.
• Application of two coats of polyurethane waterproofing Hyperdesmo LV.
• Installation of geotextile fabric 150 gr/m².
• Installation of Polytile concrete pavers with integrated thermal insulation, thickness 7 cm.
