Isolfon Rerub

The Isolfon ReRub is an eco-friendly acoustic insulation and anti-vibration material made from recycled rubber, offering high surface mass, excellent elasticity and viscoelastic behavior. It is manufactured from granules of recycled, vulcanized TKZ rubber, which are mixed with a polyurethane binder and thermo-compressed to achieve the required density and stability. It features very good mechanical resistance to bending, compression and abrasion, while maintaining its properties across a wide temperature range. At the same time, it demonstrates high durability against moisture, oils and common chemical environments, without degrading over time.

Floating floors: Particularly useful in cases of floating floors subjected to heavy loads (commercial areas, production facilities, warehouses with vehicle traffic, etc.). It should be noted that it must be covered with a reinforced cement screed of sufficient thickness to ensure uniform distribution of the applied loads.
Impact-sound insulation underlays: Especially useful in renovation projects of floating floors where the available space/height is limited. Under certain conditions, it can be installed over existing level floors and, with the use of a suitable adhesive, can receive ceramic tile installation. Our technical department can support you in selecting the appropriate adhesive and guiding the application.
Wall sound insulation: Its use between successive layers of gypsum boards ensures increased sound insulation of the composite partition/ceiling system. The alternation of intermediate layers of materials improves the overall acoustic performance by smoothing out the “dips” observed at the resonance frequencies of composite partitions. The elasticity of ReRub, due to its constituent materials, contributes to the absorption of sound energy, acting as a “mass–spring” system.
