Mapegrout Thixotropic

Mapegrout Thixotropic is a pre-blended powder mortar composed of high-strength cement, selected aggregates, special additives and synthetic fibers. It is a thixotropic, non-shrink mortar suitable for concrete repair. It can be applied in thick layers and on vertical surfaces without sagging.

Mapegrout Thixotropic is used for all types of concrete repair work, such as:

Repair of areas with deteriorated or spalled concrete.
Edges of columns and beams.
Balcony edges damaged due to reinforcement bar corrosion.
Restoration of concrete cover over reinforcement in structural elements.
Smoothing of surface imperfections such as localized honeycombs, construction joints, formwork tie holes, etc.
Filling rigid joints.

Very high flexural and compressive strength.
Modulus of elasticity, thermal expansion coefficient, water permeability and thermal conductivity similar to those of concrete.
Waterproof.
Excellent adhesion to concrete substrates.
High abrasion resistance.
Maximum thickness: 4 cm per layer, with at least 10 minutes waiting time between layers.
Thixotropic, non-shrink mortar that can be applied in large thicknesses and on vertical surfaces without sagging and without formwork.
