Mapetex Vlies

Mapetex Vlies is a non-woven polyester fabric used as a decoupling layer between the substrate and the final covering, or as part of removable flooring systems. It is suitable for ceramic tiles, natural stone, or parquet, and allows the installation of coverings over screeds or finishing layers without leaving marks when removed.
Thanks to its porous structure, Mapetex Vlies ensures excellent adhesion with Mapei tile adhesives and compensates for substrate movement. It can bridge cracks up to 0.5 mm, contributing to the safe and stable installation of the covering.
