Mapetherm AR1

Mapetherm AR1 is a one-component cementitious mortar, in white or grey color, composed of cement, selected aggregates, synthetic resins, and special additives. It is suitable for all types of thermal insulation materials and is used for bonding and levelling insulation boards in external thermal insulation systems (Mapetherm Systems).

Low viscosity, therefore easy spreading.
High thixotropy: Mapetherm AR1 GG can be applied on vertical surfaces without flowing and without the risk of insulation boards slipping, including large-size boards.
Excellent adhesion to all insulation boards and all conventional building substrates: skim coats, traditional plasters, existing paints, and decorative coatings with good adhesion.
Strength development without significant shrinkage.
Excellent finish due to the fine grain size.
