Mapetherm AR1 GG

Mapetherm AR1 GG is a one-component mortar, available in grey or white, for bonding and base-coating thermal insulation boards within the Mapetherm System. It is manufactured from cement, selected graded sand, synthetic resins, polypropylene fibers, and special additives, providing excellent adhesion, high mechanical strength, and ease of application.

Bonding of all types of thermal insulation boards (expanded / extruded polystyrene, polyurethane foam, mineral wool, cork, wood fiber, etc.) directly onto plaster, bricks, concrete, walls, and ceilings.
Levelling and reinforcement of insulation boards in combination with fiberglass mesh for reinforcement on interior and exterior walls (external thermal insulation systems).

Low viscosity, therefore easy spreading.
High thixotropy: Mapetherm AR1 GG can be applied on vertical surfaces without sagging and without the risk of the insulation boards slipping, including large-size panels.
Excellent adhesion to all thermal insulation boards and to all conventional building substrates: levelling compounds, traditional renders, old paints, and well-adhered colored coatings.
Strength development without significant shrinkage.
High mechanical strength.
