Neopor EPS

Neopor is an insulating material made from expanded polystyrene (EPS), offered in a grey-silver color because it contains graphite. The graphite plays a very important role in the heat transfer process within the material. More specifically, it interferes with the radiant heat transmission, significantly reducing it thanks to its excellent absorption and reflection properties.
Due to its physical characteristics, Neopor represents a revolutionary insulating material for the thermal insulation of buildings. It provides a thermal conductivity λd=0.030 W/mK, even at low densities — a performance that was previously unimaginable for any type of expanded polystyrene. Therefore, thinner insulation boards can be used in construction projects while still offering the same insulation performance as conventional materials of greater thickness.

  • Thermal insulation of load-bearing structural elements (columns, walls, beams) and insulation of thermal bridges (ring beams, etc.).
  • Thermal insulation of concrete slabs, applied on the underside (pilotis).
  • Roof and terrace insulation.
  • Thermal insulation of pitched roofs.
  • Cavity wall insulation.
  • Conventional flat roof insulation systems as well as green roof constructions.
  • External thermal insulation (ETICS / thermal façade systems).

  • Neopor insulation boards offer one of the lowest thermal conductivity coefficients (λ = 0.030 W/mK).
  • They are resistant to aging.
  • They are vapor-permeable.
  • They have zero water absorption.
  • They are non-flammable.
  • They are very safe to use and easy to handle and process.
  • They are produced in various densities, depending on the designers’ requirements for low or high compressive strength.

Available in thicknesses from 10mm up to 600mm.
