Planitop Extra Fino

Planitop Extra Fino is a pre-mixed, white, one-component, normal-setting skim-coat mortar based on cementitious binders, fine fillers, special additives, and synthetic polymers in powder form. Its ultra-fine composition provides excellent adhesion and great ease of application with a metal trowel, facilitating finishing works.
It can be applied in thicknesses from 0 to 1 mm per layer and is ideal for creating a very smooth levelling coat on traditional or pre-mixed plasters, both indoors and outdoors, on dry or damp surfaces, prior to painting or the application of decorative coatings.

▪ Leveling of fresh traditional or premixed plasters (within 24 hours of application), indoors and outdoors, prior to painting or applying colored coatings to walls and ceilings.
▪ Smooth finish for dry, premixed, and traditional plasters, indoors and outdoors, on walls and ceilings.
▪ Smooth finish for plasters in areas where wallpaper or lightweight fabric coverings.
▪ Leveling of precast slabs.
▪ Application of a smooth finish coat for leveling mortars with a natural appearance.
▪ Smooth finish on concrete, drywall, or cement board walls.

Planitop Extra Fino is a premixed, single-component, white-colored, normal-setting leveling mortar based on cementitious binders, selected fine-grained fillers, special additives, and synthetic polymer powders, with a formulation developed at MAPEI’s Research Laboratories. The special, extremely fine-grained formulation gives the leveling mortar formed by mixing Planitop Extra Fino with water high adhesion and makes it very easy to spread with a smooth metal trowel, which facilitates finishing work. Planitop Extra Fino can be applied in layers ranging from 0 to 1 mm thick. Once Planitop Extra Fino has cured, paints or colored trowel-applied coatings from the Silexcolor, Silancolor, Quarzolite, Elastocolor, or Colorite product lines can be applied over it, following the application of the appropriate primer.
Planitop Extra Fino is classified according to the European standard EN 998-1 as a GP-type leveling mortar
“General-purpose mortar for interior/exterior plastering” of category CS III.
