Sika Boom 521 FoamFix

Sika Boom 521 FoamFix is a one-component, fast-curing polyurethane foam with very limited expansion, applied with a gun. It offers high adhesion and is ideal for bonding insulation boards and gypsum boards, as well as for filling joints and adjustments. Thanks to its properties, it is particularly suitable for thermal insulation applications and external thermal insulation systems.

Sika Boom 521 FoamFix is easy to use for plaster boards and the following insulation materials:

Extruded polystyrene boards (XPS).
Styrofoam – Expanded polystyrene board (EPS).
Wood fibre boards.
Cork boards.
PUR/PIR boards.

It is also used for:

Mounting heat insulation panels and filling voids dur ing adhesive application.
Bonding wooden type construction materials to con crete, metal, e.t.c.
All application types requiring minimum expansion.
For mounting and isolation of window and door frames.

Good adhesion to concrete, wood, brickwork, plaster, metals, and PVC.
Fast curing.
Good tensile strength Suitable for interior and exterior applications.
Suitable for horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Strong bonding to polystyrene insulation panels (XPS and EPS).
Immediate adhesion with the ability to use the panels within 2 hours after installation.
Highly economical
