Sika Plastiment-20 R

Sika Plastiment-20 R is a liquid concrete retarder and water-reducing/plasticizing admixture.

Sika Plastiment-20 R does not contain chlorides and is therefore suitable for reinforced and prestressed concrete

0,1 – 0,3 % by weight of cement. Higher dosages and up to 0,5% b.w. of cement are also permissible, in cases of increasing demands, such as extremelly high prevailing temperatures, change of casting schedule, long transportation times, e.t.c. In all cases, preliminary tests must be conducted, in order to evaluate and verify the effect of such dosages in setting time (retardation) and stripping schedule.
