Sika ViscoBond GR

Sika ViscoBond GR is a concentrated liquid admixture designed for use as a bonding enhancer in cementitious mortars for both interior and exterior applications. It is also formulated for use in mortar and concrete as an integral waterproofing agent and plasticizer, while simultaneously increasing tensile and flexural strengths.

Sika ViscoBond GR covers a wide range of applications. Its consumptiondepends on parameters, such as:
▪ The type and quantity of the cement
▪ The aggregate characteristics
▪ The intended use of the produced mix
Approximate consumption:
▪ As a bonding slurry: 0.10 – 0.16 lt/ m2/ mm of layer thickness (Until obtaining the desired consistency)
▪ As an admixture in mortar: 0.3 – 0.6 lt/ 10 lt of mortar (Different percentages of dilution can be used after preliminary testing)
▪ As an admixture in concrete: up to 10% by weight of cement (Before application, suitability tests must be performed)
