Fibres in reinforced concrete:
▪ Reduces or eliminates the amount of steel reinforcement
▪ Easier to handle than reinforcement bars and meshes

▪ Homogeneously embedded throughout concrete matrix
▪ Fills edges, corners and difficult shapes 
Compared to steel fibres:
