SikaLatex Max

SikaLatex Max is a modified formulated mortar admixture for wide range construction applications, APEO free. It is a synthetic resin aqueous dispersion in the form of concentrated milky liquid with rich texture, used mainly to increase mortar’s adhesion to the substrate and improve its properties.

SikaLatex Max is used in concrete and mortar mixes for:
▪ Production of adhesion mortars (bonding slurries)
▪ Thin & intermediate layer mortars for finishing
▪ Plaster production, renderings
▪ Repair mortars in concrete
▪ Flooring mortars
▪ All types of mortars in construction

▪ According to REACH regulation (APEO free)
▪ Improves the adhesion of mortars on all substrates, even on smooth ones (concrete, stone, brick, ferrous metals, glass and ceramics)
▪ Produces mortars that are easily workable due to the modified texture
▪ Limits the risk of cracking and shrinkage
▪ Makes mortars plastic and easily applicable
▪ Improves waterproofing ability
▪ Improves surface hardness
▪ Reduces wear and dusting
▪ Produces mortars with increased durability against abrasion
▪ Improves chemical resistance

In general, 5-10% by weight of cement depending on the application.

In all cases (see Mortar Mix Design), mix the dry ingredients together and then add the dilution of SikaLatex Max with water in the required quantity, until a homogeneous mix with the demanded workability is produced.
