SikaProof A+

SikaProof A+ is a polyolefin (FPO)-based membrane for waterproofing the below-grade reinforced concrete portion of the structure. It is loose-laid on the prepared substrate or fixed to the formwork prior to placing the reinforcement and casting the concrete. Its special hybrid adhesive layer on the membrane forms a permanent bond with the fresh concrete. Overlap joints are sealed with cold-applied tapes or by heat welding using appropriate welding equipment.

Dual bonding: mechanical and chemical (adhesive bond) to the fresh concrete
Highly flexible and capable of bridging cracks
No water ingress between the concrete structure and the membrane
High watertightness, tested in accordance with many applicable standards and regulations
Resistant to aggressive chemicals present in groundwater and soil
Easy installation with fully bonded seams
Can be combined with other approved Sika® waterproofing / joint and connection sealing systems
