Mapetherm AR3 GG

Mapetherm AR3 GG is a grey or white cement-based adhesive for ETICS, composed of cement, graded sand, synthetic resins, and special additives. When mixed with water, it forms a low-viscosity mortar that spreads easily and can be applied to vertical surfaces without running or slippage of the insulation boards.
It provides excellent adhesion to insulation boards and all common substrates and is used both for bonding thermal insulation boards (EPS, XPS, mineral wool, etc.) and for levelling and reinforcing them with fiberglass mesh in interior and exterior thermal insulation systems.

▪ Bonding of thermal insulation panels (expanded/extruded polystyrene, polyurethane foam, mineral wool, etc.) directly on render, brick, concrete, walls, and ceilings.
▪ Smoothing and reinforcing thermal insulation panels in combination with fibreglass mesh for reinforcement on indoor and outdoor walls (external thermal insulation systems)

Bonding and smoothing of thermal insulation panels indoors and outdoors and external thermal insulation
systems on:
▪ cementitious renders or lime and cement mortars or lime only, concrete,
▪ concrete blocks (aerated concrete),
▪ brickwork.
It is also suitable for smoothing:
▪ internal and/or external walls and ceilings,
▪ boards used as cladding for ventilated façades in exterior applications.

Bonding of thermal insulation boards: 4–6 kg/m², depending on the bonding technique
Levelling coat: 1.35–1.55 kg/m² per 1 mm of thickness (recommended thickness: approx. 4 mm in 2 coats)
