Roof membranes provide comprehensive protection and waterproofing for pitched roofs, ensuring durability and long-term performance. They are divided into bituminous membranes, made from modified bitumen with reinforcement, and breathable three-layer membranes, consisting of two layers of polypropylene and one layer of polyethylene. These membranes are installed either beneath the rafters on the sheathing or above the thermal insulation layer.
